Uphill walk along "the back track" an old Military Road starting behind Lumphanan Church and continuing up towards the old Perkhill Shop on the Tarland Road. Cache is less than a mile along this track.
This cache has been placed on the "back track" which starts at Lumphanan Church and continues on for approx. two miles until it meets the old Perkhill Shop on the Tarland Road. To find the cache you do not need to walk the full two miles, the cache is placed less than a mile up the track. After finding the cache you can either return the way you came or walk through the gate which is signposted on the left hand side as you are walking downhill. The gate route will take you along another footpath which joins up with the road which will take you back to the church.
