The Scottsdale McDowell Sonoran Preserve is a large, permanently protected, sustainable desert habitat. To fulfill its mission to manage and preserve this land for future generations, off-trail travel, altering the natural environment, and leaving materials in the Preserve are prohibited. Based on these prohibitions, the City's Preserve Commission and City staff have determined that geocaching in the Preserve is also prohibited.
