Geocache Description:

The Champ de Mars is a large public green-space in Paris, located in the 7th arrondissement, between the Eiffel Tower to the northwest and the École Militaire to the southeast. The park is named after the Campus Martius of Rome. "Champ de Mars" means "Field of Mars", after Mars the god of war.

Your gps will lead you to the Wall for Peace which was inaugurated on March 30, 2000. The world "peace" is written on the wall in 49 languages. It also contains thirty monitors connected to the Internet network. The public of the whole world can send its messages of peace which will appear on the screens. You can do it on the official site of the Wall of Peace.

The cache
This is a small cache in a form of a stone containing logbook and small pencil. It is possible to put in the box geocoins and maybe even some travel bugs (if they are small and flat only!). And I would like this cache to be a place of exchanging the foreign coins. Initially I put there three coins: from Serbia, from the UK and from Switzerland. You can take any of them and place in the cache another coins. There is also a small prize for the first person who'll find the cache - yellow smiling badge :) Keep it and let it bring you luck!

Important! I strongly recommend you to do this cache during the night or in the early morning because during the day there are too mane people at the place. Also the Eiffel Tower by night is very beautiful :) Rainy weather is a good idea as well. In any case, please be very careful and discrete and put the box exactly where it was. Thank you!

Metro: The nearest metro stations are École Militaire and La Motte-Picquet-Grenelle.

Enjoy the beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower by night and don't forget your camera :)
Good luck!
