Geocache Description:

This cache is sited in the area of a newly restored engine house. Although not in the town centre, its not too far away from the main streets and an easy stroll from Tesco.

The co-ordinates are to get you to the right area but are NOT the co-ordinates for the cache itself. The cache is NOT hidden on the historic building - please respect the special nature of this area when looking for the cache.

In order to find the cache you will need to do a bit of detective work to make sure this is more than a quick cache-and-dash... a calculator might be handy .. at least a pen and paper.!

A = the total fathoms added together

B = the first and last digit of the year the shaft was plugged.

C = the digits of the Shaft Ref. No. added together.

Now - add together A, B and C.

Divide this answer by the number of circluar rusty metal discs (if you know a better name for these please let me know).

Forget the decimal .. the number you are left with is significant when joined up to the hint.

You think its easy now .. but this part will drive you insane, mad, nuts..! Take a moment to sit and think and all will become clear.

A nice little cache and dash to hopefully inspire you onto the main Flat Lode to explore Cornwall's mining history more.

Only logbook contained in cache due to size so please bring pen and dainty fingers/tweezers to extract !!
