Geocache Description:

Sherwood Forest

Please be careful while visiting the home of Robin Hood and his Merry Men.

You never know who you might run into
I've heard if the woods are very quite sometimes early morn you can hear Maid Marian humming away while she collects what she needs for the next meals.

Or you may see Little John talking to Friar Tuck while they sit on their porch in the evening over a cup of brew, and of course when I say porch in their language it is probably more like hanging out of a tree!

No matter..Please just come and go and do not disturb them
Unfortunately the soldiers who come in for sneak attacks have left some trash here and there, but it is still a very peaceful and serene forest..

If Robin Hood catches the persons responsible for leaving the debris they will be question and charged..And maybe never seen again....

Also it looks like his soldiers at some point may enjoy target practice, so please be careful at certain times of the year..

Robin Hood and his Merry Men do hope you enjoy your visit here, they have hidden a Rubbermaid container, for you to come see..

Also please don't be squeamish, but I heard there may be some guardian ants around also.

And please note the tree coverage as your GPS may bounce

A modern day jeep came out on the road we walked in and said it is drivable but rocky in spots and lots of potholes, so you may want to park and walk and keep eyes open, you never know who might swing past you!

CONGRATS TO GEOTIGGER AND WANDADOO FTF!
