Geocache Description:


October 2008 was my first time to Lake Texana State Park. While camping there the local racoon's came to visit us. One of the racoon's was hurt and was picked on by the others so we decided to name him Gimpy. He came to visit us each day while camping there; probably because we were feeding him. So this cache is in honor of Gimpy.

This is my first cache to hide so I hope it's a fun one for everyone to find. Cache is starting out with lots of fun swag for the first to find. Have fun! And be sure to enjoy the park while your there.

Flat terrain, friendly biking and walking trail. Watch for snakes.

The proper permitting has been issued and approved for this cache. Also, it is illegal to enter a state park without first obtaining a park pass. Admission is $5.00 for adults, seniors, and children under 12 are free.
