A traditional cache in the Weir Canyon area.
Nothing fancy, just a traditional ammo can cache. Lots of goodies in it when placed. Just a few steps off the trail. No real bushwhacking needed when placed.
As I was placing the cache, I did hear some rustling noises from a nearby bush, so be careful out there.
And yes, there is a fairly steep drop-off (i.e. cliff) not too far from the cache. You DO NOT need to go down there! Quite safe by the cache, which is at least 20 feet from the cliff, but keep the little ones close (which you should in the wilderness anyway).
Congrats to AWEMM on the FTF! Hope he is recovering OK.
