This cache is located near the tip of Kinnartangen with a view of
Sandspollen,
Vestfjord, Drøbak, and Håøya along with several small islands. This
section
of the coast trail is one of our favorites, and is a good place for
early season
hikes, or for those looking for good places for summer swims off of
rocks, or
somewhere to fish.
We like to park in Sætre and walk the coast trail in along
Kongsdelveien then
down through Øvre Verpen towards Sandpollen. Another nice trip is
parking
at Storsand, and walking northward along the coast trail and
approaching
Kinnartangen along the northeastern side of the peninsula. No
matter what,
we highly recommend exploring the trails and experiencing the many
fine
views along the way. For those wanting to drive as close as
possible, then
we recommend parking in the area close to Fiskerhytta.
The cache is locate right on the trail, so please watch out for
mugglers. It should
be easy to find, and is filled with small trading items and a log
book.
