Why try to improve on perfection? I'm a recent returnee to the area and thought what a better way to get us new arrivals to get to know the veteran cachers that have a little get together!
All are invited!!!
If you are a current member of the Military Association of GeoCachers (MAGC), if you would like to become a member of MAGC or just want to meet some new cachers in the area, please feel free to attend. Anybody can attend/join. The MAGC is opened to:
1. Military Members (Active Duty; Guard; Reserve; Friendly Nations)
2. Family Members of Military
3. Retired Military, or Veterans with Honorable Discharge
4.People who wish to support our Troops by sharing time geocaching with them
Situation: Cachers stuck in Iraq.
Mission: 300900MAY09 Get us whacky and obsessed folks together to swap caching stories, discover/trade trackables, and encourage cachers to HIDE caches so we can keep this thing going.
Tasks: Bring your trackables and Bring a Friend.
Coordinating instructions: If you can help, let me know. If you have ideas - send them, too.
Service Support: There will be a raffle (prize to be announced)

POST EVENT UPDATE: A VERY BIG THANK YOU to all of the AWESOME support from fellow cachers in the States. We received trackable, swag, and cache supplies from across the country - WA, ID, NY, VA, OH, NJ, OR, TN. We were truly humbled!
