The cache is a small, black painted container with a logbook, writing stick and several odds and ends to swap
This area was in the 1950s to 1970s the main rubbish tip site for the Perth Roads Board which became the City of Stirling, the western and southwestern edges were resumed by the State Government for use as the MitchellFreeway. It is obvious that some people think the tip is still open as there always seems to be recent dumpings at the end of the road.
DO NOT park on the Freeway Emergency lane to access the cache- it is only a short drive to the recommended parking spot!!
Care needs to be taken as cyclists often descend from the bridge at high speed.
