Matsqui - Mission - Fraser View

The following is a short hike which will start from the side of a gravel road where you will pass by a fairly messy area which is very popular for the local kids to hang out and shot off fireworks. Once you pass this spot, you will then be walking on a narrow path which has rock on one side, and steep drop offs on the other. Please be careful. I would not recommend any really young children do this hike due to the drop offs. The hike to the cache is about 15 minutes, and will take you to the top of the rock cliff where you will have a fantastic view of Matsqui, Mission and the Fraser River. You will be able to see the famous Mission tower from here, and see the trains as they meander next to the river and thru Matsqui.

Although the cache is not at the rock ledge, it is close (15-20 meters away), so this cache is not for the faint of heart when it comes to heights. Please be careful and enjoy the view.
