Located on Highway #8 in Pleasantfield at a popular stopping spot to view the Osprey Nest. The cache should be winter friendly.
Note: This cache was moved from it's original position as it was felt it was too close to the nest and putting stress on the birds. You will still have a view of the nest from the new location but it is far enough away that it shouldn't upset the birds. I apologize in advance to anybody who looks for the cache in it's old location after I have moved it.
Anybody that travels Hwy #8 will know this spot well. There is a large Osprey nest sitting on top of a power pole beside the road. The nest was moved from it's original pole and placed on top of this pole purposely put up for the nest. If you are lucky the Osprey will be at home and give you a demonstration of it's flying skills like it did for me when I was hiding the container. The container is a small lok & lok and contained at hiding a log, pencil & small trade items.
This should be a quick P&G but please take the time to enjoy this beautiful bird if it is there. There is room on the shoulder to pull off the road at this spot.
