Frodo_Underhill: Time to archive this cache. This cache was too far off of the road and must be within 10 ft of the road or trail. Unable to comply with the new regs. Thanks to everyone who visited this cache through the years. Your logs were appreciated.

Another fun cache. Perhaps I will rehide something similar to this in the future in another area that is more receptive to geocaching. Time will tell.

Geocache Description:

A puzzle cache dedicated to Arnold Ziffel from Green Acres

Hidden in the usual fashion in the Wharton State Forest.

Arnold Ziffel was one of my favorite characters from the Green Acres sitcom that aired on CBS in the late sixties. Even though he was just a pig, he was one of the saner characters in this screwball city meets country comedy. It is uncertain what became of Arnold after the show wrapped but there is no truth to the urban legend that the cast and crew had a pig roast after its final shooting.

You can read more about Arnold Ziffel in a Wikipedia article here.
