Geocache Description:

Easy terrain, close to a well known local historical site.
Can be a bit exposed - so bring a coat!

The site is well marked on most OS and national maps - a fantastic setting, with tremendous views, and peace and tranquility.
The cache is hidden on the way to the ruins, in an old ammunition box ( Edit...temporarily in a plastic sandwich box as someone pinched the ammo box!!).
Contents at time of placement are :
Rubber, Agate piece, pen, hopping frog, screwdriver, bouncy ball, earrings, frog keyring, dice, model lorry, miniature telescope, 5 balloons.
The box was placed by local (Thornhill) scouts with a direct connection to the castle as their name is Morton scouts.
Please hide the box as you found it.
Good luck!!
