This cache is located on a new walking trail, the trail is now completed and connects to Harvey Trail. You can park by the Community Center. From there it is only a 5 min. walk to the cache.
This cache is named "Hairyman" in honour of George Harvey's Newfoundland dog, that took part in the rescue of the passagers and crew of the ship "Despatch" in the early 1800's.
Be sure to look for the "Harvey Trail" and "Anne's cache" while you are in town, and read about the Harvey family and their dog on the panels at the trail.
The cache is a "salt beef pail". It contains a few trading items ,a log ,and pencil.
