Geocache Description:

In 1980, George Emil Perrenoud donated "The Perrenoud Wildlife Habitat Area" to the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation for the purpose of a wilderness park for the benefit of the residents of the Province of Alberta. The locals used to horseback ride in the area until it was fenced off and restricted to foot traffic only.

Camo taped coffee can with FTF prize, log book, pencil, swag.

Please park in the designated area on the North side of the Texas gate. Advised not to go across Texas gate... there may be horses or cows at large... they like to "taste" automobile paint jobs!

Although there are some very nice paths in the habitat area, there is also a lot of deadfall. Deer paths seem to go in the right direction for a bit, but then disappear altogether. More than likely if you are following your GPS you will end up off the path and bushwacking up and down the many gullies and hills in the area. I have therefore I have rated the terrain as a "3" ... but you might find a nice 1.5 rated path.
