Geocache Description:

Mountain gap on GA 180 between Vogel State Park. and Suches....level trail at gap and trailhead for Duncan Ridge,about 3000ft elevation..views

Located at TrailHead for the Duncan Ridge and Coosa Backcounty Trail. Scenic Byway just West of Vogel State Park off GA 180. Good parking for several cars at top of grade at Wolf Pen Gap. Park, look to north and east for an unmarked trail. Forest Service has placed a berm to prevent ATV use of this old trail. Go down this trail about 30 paces (more or less), look to left side of trail for an old stump right next to thr trail. Screw-top Rubbermaid Plastic container hidden where Alice in Wonderland had to follow the rabbit. Small container with goodies for kids 8 to 80. Beautiful views. Great area for Autumn Leaves. Forest Service Wildflower and Tree exhibit close by at Sosebee Cove. Vogel State Park and famous 1927 Sunshine Grocery Store 2 miles away. Several additional caches in the area.
