This cache is in Black Mountain Open
Space Park.
It’s located on the cut across trail that connects the northern and
southern portions of the park. You can get there from either the
parking to the north off of Carmel Valley Rd following the Miner’s
Ridge Loop Trail or from the south at Hilltop Community park
following the Nighthawk trail.
It's great for hiking, walking and biking. I love to mountain bike
this portion of the trail because it is a fun single-track trail
after a strenuous climb uphill. If you are biking be sure to yield
to hikers.

I've gotten a flat tire on this trail, only to realize I forgot to
bring a patch kit, so I had to walk my bike all the way home. That
gave me the idea to hide some flat fixing items in a cache out here
to be used when needed. Please use them if you need them, but
otherwise leave them in the cache. They include:
* Tire irons
* Patch Kit
* Pressurized fix-a-flat slime
* CO2 cartridge
