We have resurrected The Hump. The cache by Toonarmy on this site saw 94 visitors and several DNF’s in just a year. As this was one of our first caches and it is such a great area for families, who we would like to encourage into geocaching, we have brought it back.
There is a lovely picnic area with free BBQs, toilets and children’s playground about 200m away. There is a path suitable for wheelchairs, strollers and walkers to the cache site but the cache recovery requires scrambling on hands and knees. The cache is a 200ml sistema with magnets so it sticks to something metallic. Be careful when retrieving and replacing the cache, this area is muggle central on weekends.
