Come join us for a DOG-gone good time! We're having this event
right in the center of many cache rich areas.....
Parkersburg/Marietta..... Wheeling/St.Clairsville..... and
Clarksburg/Fairmont! Come see what we have to offer.... a little
hiking, history, scenery, and lots of fun!
The location is at the Virgil Ash Shelter at the Sistersville City
Park. The shelter has several picnic tables but you may want to
bring your favorite lawn chair for sitting along the
riverbank.
We will begin gathering around 3:00PM and will be having dogs ready
around 4:00PM
We will provide hot dogs, buns, sauce, ketchup, mustard, and
onions, coolers full of water and ice, plates, napkins, silverware,
etc. If anyone wants to bring anything, how about a pot luck dish
or dessert to share?
Restrooms, walking trail, swimming pool, and kids playground are
all nearby.
There will be LOTS of temporary caches all within walking distance
(The historic Sistersville ferry boat ride to Ohio will get you to
at least one) and several new permanent caches to be published in
the preceding days before the event.
AND..... we'll have some giveaways! Compass Coins has donated some
beautiful coins for our event!
