A ammo box hidden along a walking path in the Little Mill Creek South Park in Lenexa. This cache is part of a Girl Scout activity we did on geocacing. After finding a few in our area we placed one for them so they can see how the contents change over the months and view the log books.
Girl Scout Troop 1490 at Mill Creek Elementary placed this cache along the trail where they attend school. This is also a area where some of the girls practice soccer. The school mascot is a Mustang so the 5th grade soccer team call themselves the Fillies. The cache is hidden off the trail but will require getting into some wooded area, so make sure to check for poison ivy and ticks.
Little Mill Creek South Park is a 14-acre linear park that runs from 79th & Mullen to 83rd & Mullen. It includes two practice softball fields, one practice soccer field, numerous natural areas, a unique catalpa grove and .6-miles of jogging/walking/bicycle trail. This cache was placed with the permission of Lenexa Parks and Recreation.
The original contents include: geocaching.com pencil, Deep Woods Off towelettes, AA battery pack, Wet Wipes towelettes, shell, strawberry shortcake toy, toy compass, 2 bracelets, toy back scratcher, craft kit, spiderman toy.
