Level terrain. You may park across the street or even walk here
from Wellington Park where there is also parking.
This cache has been placed with the permission of the owners of
Danceland. The container is the size of a 35mm canister and is located on the exterior of
the structure on the south side. Sit down on a bench east of the entry door and enjoy the view on the
south elevation of this structure while carefully finding this
cache. Be aware that at certain times there can be a lot of
tourists here so judge yourself accordingly. You will need your own
pencil to sign the log book. This structure was built in 1928 and
the 5000 sq.ft. hardwood dance floor rests on horse hair. During summer months, one can dance to live music on Tuesday evenings from 8-9:30pm. Cost is $2.00 and that is why they call it "toonie night". Regular buffets and dances are held on Saturday evenings and many times also on a Friday evening.
