Geocache Description:

Taylorstown, near Ballycullane, County Wexford.

An ambush took place near this bridge on a date in May 1798. The Rosegarland Corps of United Irishmen fought against a party of Yeomanry who were retreating to Duncannon Fort from Wexford town.

The nearby red brick viaduct carries the Waterford/Rosslare rail line.

You will need some numbers to help calculate the final coordinates for the cache.

You should be standing by a stone plaque at the side of the road. What date in May 1798 is mentioned? Call this answer A.

From this spot you should be able to see the train viaduct also. How many arches has it got? Make this answer B.
