Attention: this is a puzzle cache. The posted coordinates are within a mile of the trailhead. The cache location and hint are in the puzzle.
It's been nearly three years since my first Cachecrostic, so I thought it was high time I wrote another. For those of you who've never done an acrostic, here's how it works:
- Print out the puzzle. (The whole thing's just a picture, so you should be able to copy it and paste it somewhere else, if that helps.)
- As you fill in the responses to the clues, write the letter in its corresponding number square on the grid as well. Filled-in squares separate words, and words can wrap to the next line.
- The letters in the upper righthand corner of each square in the grid correspond to the clue from which they come below. For example, the first letter in the grid comes from clue P. This is helpful when you start figuring out words in the grid, and want to bring the letters down into clues you haven't yet figured out.
- In a traditional acrostic, the first letter of each clue would spell out the author and title of the quote in the grid. I wasn't loony enough this time to make anything like that happen.

The level of difficulty is based on your printing out the puzzle and doing it with no resources. If you use the internet, it's a level 1. Many of the answers are extremely googlable.
The cache is about a mile and a half round trip from the parking lot, on a fairly flat, rocky trail.
