Barnstead boat launch on Suncook River
A few months ago I had a discussion with MAMDs about growing up in this area. This led to stories of childhood trips down the Suncook River on "anything" that floats. Kid pools, homemade rafts etc. We would launch here and float to Pittsfield (GC1MYF4) laughing all the way and probably giving our parents nightmares.
Great canoe or kayak trip opportunity.
The building near the cache is an old train depot for the Blueberry Express that serviced B&M in Pittsfield. The building was originally on the other side of the street and is now a private residence so please don't wander over. Sorry.
Cache is a small bison tube.
