Here's an outstanding view of rural California.
We're along Spruce Grove Road in Lake County and looking east across a valley that I really admire but don't know well enough to be on a first name basis. There is a road going off just a little ways past the cache site called Little High Valley Road, so maybe that's it's name.
We think you're looking over towards Morgan Valley on the other side of those hills and the Knoxville BLM lands a little farther south but wouldn't stake much on it.
Look for a chunk of pvc pipe that has been "worked on". It's about 2" by 12" and holds a variety of goodies right now. Be forewarned, however. There are a LOT of hiding places here. It's nothing tricky but it is camouflaged and we tried to hide it well. Unless you're about 15 feet away from the awesome old manzanita bush just to right of the path, you're looking in the wrong spot.
