There have been several caches in this area over the years but they always seem to be in public view. We found this path a few months ago and thought it would be a good spot for a full sized cache. The cache is about 60' beyond the bench but the bench would be a good place to sit, sign the log and enjoy the sounds of the wildlife and the water. This area is a reclaimed wetland and water abounds. The hide location has been dry every time we have visited, although the approach may be wet and muddy at times. And there can be a lot of insects that like to feast on you, so wear long clothing or repellant. The original cache was a 30 cal ammo can painted to blend in.
As of 03/20/2011 the container is a 3oz to 4oz cammoed container.
Update 09/17/2022 the path is being reclaimed by Mother Nature so it is becoming a bushwhack. Branches and logs are starting to block the path. Plan to be in the woods rather than a business park.
The entrance to the path is from the East. There is no viable way to approach the cache from the North or the West.
