Geocache Description:

A regular cache set next to the historic Felkirk Medieval Village and on the route of a heritage walk

Felkirk Heritage Walk 1 - This walk is about 2 miles and starts and finishes at St Peter's Church, Felkirk (see recommended parking co-ordinates). This is one of 5 local walks that all start from the church and a map showing the routes is sited at the entrance to the church grounds.

If you are lucky then the Old School Room will be open (I believe it is Sunday afternoons and Thursday mornings plus other special occasions) (visit link) Inside you will find loads of information about the local area and the Monckton Colliery. Leaflets detailing the walks are also available.

The cache itself is set next to the footpath that runs next to the old Medieval Village. It can be accessed by following the full walk or, if time is short, by following the route in reverse.
