This is my first time hiding a cache and I decided to keep it simple. It’s in honor of my grandfather, A.D., or as we grandkids called him......Paw Paw. My grandfather has been gone for some time now but he is still remembered. He was a crop and cattle farmer all of his life and was well known in our area. It was hard to find someone who didn’t know who he was. He frequented most of the local cattle sales and was quite a fixture there. The sales were not only a place to purchase cattle but also a place to socialize with his fellow cattlemen. Paw Paw was a big man and was pretty hard to miss when he walked into a room.
When you stop at this cache you’ll be near the farm he called home. The cache is a “park-n-grab” and should be easy to find. It doesn't contain a pencil, so be sure to bring one with you.
