Geocache Description:

[ENG] Believe it or not!

Have you ever seen trees growing upside down? Here you can see it! The old legend goes that lime-trees planted exactly this way…

Parks pieklaujas Katvaru ezeram.

Cache ir bruns bakelita konteiners detonatora uzglabašanai ( 12 cm augsts,1939.gads, Vacija, JMH). Taja ievietots logbook, zimulis, zimulu asinamais, GC, dažadas siklietinas mainai un nozimite pirmajam atradejam.

The Katvari manor with its buildings around is an architectural monument. There is a regular stile park with two terraces made in a distinctive way. Lime-trees avenues are very interesting; the upper terrace with 400 years old, 4-5 meters diameter and up to 40 meter tall trees line is the most impressive. Here you can find also unforgettable Northern labyrinth where the lime trees are shaped in a very strange way, so in a summer the sky can’t be seen through the leafage.

There is a lake by the side of the park.

The cache is German Fuse storage case made of brown bakelite (12 cm, 1939) and contains logbook, pencil, pencil-sharpener, GC, some small things to trade up and geopin for FTF.
