LT: Žalsvasis šaltinis – giliausias Lietuvos urvas. Jo dabartinis gylis - 20 m. Žalsvasis šaltinis yra Levens upes kairiajame krante, Pasvalio mieste, šalia Kalno gatves. Iš urvo tekanti versme iteka i Levens upe. Šaltinis ištryško smegduobeje apie 1960 metus. Iš smegduobes apacios besiveržiantis požeminis vanduo išreže salpoje keliu metru ilgio vaga, kurios dugnas padengtas šviesiai pilkomis, vos žalsvo atspalvio nuosedomis, suteikiancioms šaltinio vandeniui žalsva atspalvi. Smegduobes, iš kurios išteka šaltinis, šonuose matosi pavieniai gipso ir dolomito gabalai. Vanduo skaidrus, šaltas, turi sieros vandenilio kvapa. Tai didžiausias šaltinis Pasvalio rajone ir giliausias urvas Lietuvoje. Žalsvasis šaltinis yra itrauktas i Lietuvos rekordu knyga „Factum“. Povandeniniai Žalsvojo šaltinio tyrinejimai prasidejo 2006 m.

Urvo aprašymas

Šio povandeninio urvo-versmes pirmasis šulinys yra apie 5 m skersmens ir 21 m gylio, besibaigiantis akmenu ir uolienu nuolaužu užvarta. Toliau urvas išsišakoja i dvi sales: „Sauletaja“ bei „Aenigma“.

ENG:Green Spring - deepest cave in Lithuania. It’s current depth - 20 m. Green Spring is on the left bank of the river Levuo in Pasvalys town. Spring spurt out in a sinkhole around 1960. In sinkhole bottom flooding groundwater cut several meters long bed, its bottom is covered with light gray, almost greenish color of sediment, providing greenish tint to the spring water. Water is clear, cold and has smell of sulfur hydrogen. This is the largest source of Pasvalys area and the deepest cave in Lithuania. Green spring is included in the Lithuanian Book of Records "Factum". Underwater exploration of green spring started in 2006.

Caves Description

The underwater cave-springhead first well is about 5 m in diameter and 21 m in depth, ending with debris of stones and rock. Down below the cave split into two halls: "Sauletaja" and "aenigma."
