Geocache Description:


Tinker's Garden in the Downtown Square. The Garden is named in memory of Fred (Tinker) Ties, who retired in 1951. He has the longest record of service for Police Chief. Starting as constable he retired in 1951 as police chief and served 52 years in Law Enforcement.

This cache was originally placed by Lord Cadogan, who has since passed away.

Permission for this cache has been granted by Wade Boegli, Director of Parks and Recreation. Please be careful when searching for this cache, as it was reported that someone may have damaged the plaque that was attached to the brick wall. There is no reason to remove anything to find this container.
