Geocache Description:

Small container with room for a log, small trade items and travel bugs. Bring a pen or pencil.

January 2019 Update - After nearly a decade (!) the old container finally died and the contents were ruined. There is a new container that's a little larger. Be sure to rehide it well.

This is not recommended as a night cache.

This cache takes you off the beaten path to Bee Spring, home to a very old cemetery, an old church and (of course) a spring.

The cemetery was established in 1815, It holds the remains of pioneers born in Europe during the 18th century, and is still in active use.

The spring will provide you with a steady stream of cool water. During dry spells farmers still use this spring to water their animals. Don't be surprised to see someone stop for water.

There has been repeated vandalism to the church so I strongly recommended you don't try this as a night cache unless you want to draw unwanted attention. If you see anything that needs reporting the number for the Giles County Sheriff is (931) 363-3505. CITO would be appreciated.

The cache is not located within the cemetery fence or on the church grounds. You won't need to cross any fences. If it has been raining you will get wet. Watch the flora and fauna.
