Geocache Description:

This cache was originally supposed to be something much much harder. Read about it here.

This area was once the home to the cache Double Take, which was probably in the first 50 caches I found in my caching career. I later adopted the cache from supins, and archived it this year, feeling that the camo had finally run it's course (there wasn't much left of it), and the pipe had a leak in at that required maintenance.

Once I got to the top of the ridge and started walking along the top, I got drawn into it, finding trails I thought I had never been on.

The original Double Take cache didn't go too far from Fairmont Street - this cache will take you nearly a 1/2 mile from Fairmont Street. You'll be walking along a portion of the SHT as well. On your return trip you can take the wide ski trail back if it's not winter. You'll be looking for a total of 9 stages, including the final (which is an ammo can, recycled from Shane0858's Chinese Bushwacking). None of the stages are more than a 1/3 mile from the previous stage (except the final), but I only give you the last three digits (the decimal digits) of the latitude/longitude at each stage, so you may need to adjust your whole minutes accordingly. The first 8 stages are all the same. You'll really want to look at the tags closely - a 3, 6, 8, etc all look very similar unless examined closely. I'm hoping this will be easier than another dreaded cache that used these tags.
