Hidden near the White (cinder) Trail in Waid Park, Franklin, Co., VA
This cache is hidden in the woods off one of the hiking trails in Waid Recreation Park near Rocky Mount, VA. This is one of my favorite places to hike and ride bike.
Along this trail in the spring of the year I have often taken pictures of the lady slippers that grow here. You can walk right past them if you're in a hurry and not even see them. Take the time to slow down and enjoy the walk.
You can park near the sign board in the parking lot above the baseball fields to get closest to the cache.
