Geocache Description:

One of the Westfarthing Wander, a series of caches out beyond the LOTR caches on the Helm, accessed from the Old Hutton road out of Kendal

Near St Sundays Bridge The odd one out of this series can be picked up as you walk the road out to Middleshaw, as a drive by, as part of an encircled but truncated Westfarthing Wander or as part of the “hour glass” WW&SS combined. At the end of the driveway down from Blease Hall, the Old Hutton Road crosses St Sundays Beck at St Sundays bridge and the beck winds off into the Northfarthing, rising some distance away over the far side of the Sedbergh (great East) road. Portek is the name on the signs as the business running Blease Hall Farm but once more echoes of Bilbos party come from the Portek website. http://www.portek.co.uk/ They deal in agricultural supplies, Bird scarers and fine display fireworks! Multiple signs on the trees of Blease Hall drive, discourage accidental exploration but one of the dead branches of the tree gives a clue as to the surprising creatures hidden in the barn beyond the padlocked gate.
