Geocache Description:

An easy magnetic micro to lure you to another historical site in Blount County. Being here at night is likely to generate a suspicious person call and there's no need to go into the park.

Berry Mountain School was built in 1921 on two acres donated by Stephen Jonah King. It was used continuously as a six-grade school until 1951. The first session, in the summer of 1921, was operated as a “subscription school” where the parents paid the teacher.
