Geocache Description:

Well hidden cache along the trail next to Dry Creek

The hiding place has nothing to do with the name. A few years ago this land was owned by a friend of mine and we used to play paint ball here. We quickly learned that to pass between the east and west sides of the field on the narrow trail was the quickest way out of the game. With the thick brush on the north and the creek on the south the trail was an easy place to guard and to hold. Any attack here would get you splattered. This pinch point quickly became known as the Valley of Death. We had lots of other names for the different areas of the field, but none were as colorful or descriptive.

Once or twice we attacked by sneaking through the deer trails in the brush, but usually we would just wade across the creek and try to sneak up behind. It sure was a lot of fun to play here.

For easiest access, park on the side street at the bottom of the hill on N 1200 E and walk on the sidewalk to the trail on the north side of the creek.

8/20/09 -- At the behest of my caching friends I'm changing the difficulty rating to 4. Be patient and look closely and carefully and you will find it.
