Everybody enjoys thelanes Traditional Geocache

As he is nearing at his 1,000th find, and he is about the only cacher who will go out with me on a moments notice, in the middle of the night, for a FTF, I wanted to dedicate a cache to my buddy, "thelanes." Thelanes, also known as Allen, has been a good friend to have come to know in the caching community. Not only does he make a trip to go out for a cache an adventure, but he also adds tons of comic relief to the entire experience.

Amazingly, Allen and I have a lot of similarities. Firstly, we both enjoy NASCAR racing and both of us supported the same driver for many years. We both live nearby each other and we both obviously geocache. The two of us have been married to the same woman for 20+ years. Ok not the same person, different women but only one wife. Wait, 2 wives, each our own, but still married after all this time. Next....I have a wonderful wife and so does he and they both put up with a lot from us. And number D, we both also have very funny senses of humor, although he is hard to keep up with and always keeps me laughing. There's plenty more but I need to get this thing posted.

We also have some major differences, I like to find tough caches, Allen whines. I don't mind bushwhacking, Allen whines. I don't mind caching in the heat, but.....Allen whines. He logs his finds the same day, I log mine a week late, usually when Allen starts whining. I like to get about a thousand caches a year; he goes for about 200, mostly while whining!

Well additionally, one other big thing we do have in common is I really enjoy hanging out and caching with Allen and I believe, he enjoys hanging out and caching with me, (I guess we'll have to wait and see by his log) even while he is whining.
