EMGT-Yorkshire - The Upper Cattaraugus Valley Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sapience Trek: Groundspeak has been contacted by the property owner here about the cache placement, so I am archiving the cache until the situation can be resolved between the cache owner and the property owner.

My research shows that the property the final cache location is on is a private parcel of land. The so called "right of way" of the road permits the town/county/state to expand the road or service utilities, but it does not make it public property for use by geocachers.

If you talk to the property owner here and get permission for placement, please let me know and I'd be happy to relist your cache.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Geocache Description:

The geocache is not listed at the posted coordinates but it is part of the Enchanted Mountains GeoTrail (EMGT)!

This trail is a project of Cattaraugus County Department of Economic Development, Planning and Tourism, and the Enchanted Mountains Cattaraugus County. It has been developed to encourage visiting cachers and residents to explore the hidden parts of Cattaraugus County as they travel the highways and byways of the Enchanted Mountains.

On the inside cover of each cache is a KEYWORD that you will need to record in your EMGT Leaflet. You can obtain your Town wooden nickel by mailing your EMGT Leaflet to the department listed on it or by visiting the website at http://enchantedmountains.com/geotrail.

At the posted coordinates you will find a large sign about the Upper Cattaraugus Valley Inhabitants. You will need to read the sign to get the coords for the final.

The final is located at N42 30.ABC W078 30.DEF

A=The fourth digit in the fifth date

B=The second digit in the first date on the sign

C=The number of words in the first line of the title on the sign.
