Geocache Description:


This is how it works, folks. You find this cache…and in return, you place a "Pay It Forward" cache of your own (like a seed cache). When somebody finds your cache, they do the same, and so on and so on. Maybe you can bring a stocked cache container with you and place it on your way home, or maybe you already know of a good location. Either way this series has the potential to grow very fast. Once you place your cache simply name it "Pay it Forward" with your team name attached. We would love to see this series reach the far corners of the earth while giving back to the Geocaching community at the same time. Feel free to cut and paste this description if you decide to participate by placing your own PIF cache. (You DO NOT have to place a cache, but it would be appreciated, and hiding one PIF cache per team will be enough to make this happen.) Since we've found a couple of P.I.F. caches lately, we thought it was time we hid one.

Be sure to check out the other 2 caches hidden in this beautiful park. Terrain rating is due to a moderate hike and a couple of steep areas. The original contents include typical swag, along with some unactivated TB dogtags and an "FTF" refrigerator magnet for the first finder.

This seemed to be some sort of "mystery spot" in terms of satellite reception-we had a really hard time setting a good WP and the pointer on our GPS'r seemed particularly jumpy. Please be understanding if your GZ isn't right by the cache.

Park hours are 6:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.
