Geocache Description:

Exit Hwy 87 at FR 626. Follow paved road to FR 201 trun to FR 25 trun on to FR 25A. (2 is missing on 25A sign)

FR 25A is the road to the mercury mine of Sunflower (also know as National Mine). 4WD to the Creek bottom is possiable, but from there on by 4WD Jeep type vehicle is iff'y.  ATV from here on is preferable. From creek bottom to cache is a short walk.     The Viper Militia destroyed a bridge over a deep chasm while experimenting with explosives. They practiced with their automatic weapons before blowing the bridge. The Forest Service has now rebuilt the bridge.Federal law enforcement arrested thirteen members of what could be described as a very dangerous anti-government group calling it self the "Viper Militia" (July 1996). The suspects are charged with plotting for more than 2 years to bomb and destroy buildings that house: Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), U.S. Bureau of Alcohol - Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), U.S. Secret Service (USSS), Phoenix Police Department and Arizona National Guard.
