Geocache Description:

A relatively easy cache in a city park.

This is a 40 acre park named in honor of Dan Dryer, a street and utility commissioner in the early 1900's. The park came about as the result of his search for a more permanent water supply for the city of Emporia. The commissioner was known for the Dryer's "4-inch bath", due to his urging of Emporia's citizens to limit the depth of their Saturday night bath to four inches.
Another story regarding this park was that years ago, during an intense heat wave, people from town brought blankets and tents to the park in the evening, benefitting from the breezes up on the hill. At one time this park featured a wading pool, bath house, and restroom, although these are no longer in existence.

You are searching for a camoflauged film container. It contains not much, and a log only........so BYOP!!!

Another congratulations goes out to GUMSHOE TULLY for yet another FTF!!!

( Some maintenance has been performed on this one.....it should be a little easier to retrieve, now.) Please let me know when the log sheets become full so I can get some new ones in place.

I have recently discovered that there is also a benchmark located in this park, if you're into that sort of thing. Co-ords are as follows...
N 38 25.671 W 096 13.097
