Geocache Description:

Regular sized camoed lock'n'lock.

There is quite a network of interesting trails in this area. My friends and siblings and I all played here in the ravines and forest when we were young, before any of the houses were here. We were even allowed to leave the Elementary School grounds to head up into the bush at lunchtime!

My brother built a 13 year old's version of a 2 story log cabin somewhere near here too, around the time the construction of all the houses was beginning. I haven't found it yet, but have recently started exploring the area again after 30 years, and hope to come across it somewhere. Let me know if you find it anywhere!

I think there are a couple of bears that use this area as a highway, so keep your eyes open and make some noise. There are also coyotes and deer seen here frequently.

The cache is right beside a side trail off a secondary trail. The side trail is not easily spotted, as it is a bit overgrown, and not used often, so I've posted coordinates at the intersection of the main trail and the secondary trail, and at the intersection of the secondary trail and the side trail. Cache is WELL camoflaged, but please keep in mind there is absolutely NO bushwhacking required. You can see, touch, and retrieve the cache with both feet firmly planted in the trail. Please don't pull on the camo, but grab the actual container itself.

Roadside parking available nearby on Eagle Pass at the bottom of Eagle Drive. Trailhead is at the end of the culdesac.
