Snow Leopards are medium sized cats found in the
mountains of Central Asia. They have many similarities to the Big
Cats, but also some differences. Some scientists classify them as
Big Cats while some don’t. They are named for their spotted coat,
not because they are closely related to leopards. Snow Leopards are
ideally suited for their habitat. They have large paws which allows
them to be sure footed on the mountains. They have thick fur all
over their bodies to help keep them warm. And their white and grey
spotted coats help hide them in the snowy terrain. Snow Leopards
are the kings in the cat world at jumping. They can jump as far 45
feet. They could jump from a football end zone to the 15 yard line
in just one leap.
This is a traditional cache. Once you find the spot, it should be
pretty easy to locate the cache. However, getting to the spot is
the fun part. It is possible to get here without going over private
property. You also do NOT need to climb any fences.
