Time: 5:30 to 7:30 (or whenever)

With the onset of summer vaction, we thought it would be a good time to host our first event. We felt that our first event should be a family style event at an establishment where there will be something fun for everyone.

When you enter your log for "will attend", please include the number of persons so that I can give the establishment a semi-accurate accounting of how many will be attending

we plan on a skee-ball tournament for the kids
an air hockey tournament for the adults
we also have some coins to giveaway in a raffle
I currently have 2 new caches placed to release... plan on 5 regular and 2 puzzles (if I can get my act together anyway)
if anyone else has anything they would like to contribute, please let me know

Lately we have been spending quite a bit of time at UMC in the pediatric care unit. In that unit they have a childrens wellness program that entertains the kids with games and gives them a stuffed toy to occupy their mind. The unit counts entirely on donations to keep the program running. With the current economy, they have been taking quite a hit on the donations.

Some of the items they could use are:

Stuffed Animals - due to the potential for germs and allergies, they can only accept these new
arts and craft items
games -- if you have any old games that aren't used, even if missing pieces.. they can use those
movies -- VHS or DVD
puzzles

In no way is this a requirement for attending this event..
