Cette cache fait partie d’une série de 4 caches qui vous emmènera sur « La Route des Choiseul », sur les traces de cette illustre famille.

La butte Saint-Nicolas est une butte témoin perchée à 408m en plein cœur du Bassigny. Elle abritait à partir du XIème siècle une motte féodale. Le château fut détruit en 1573 lors des guerres de religion. Au XVIIème siècle, un second château est construit en contrebas, à Choiseul.
Du Haut de la butte, une table d’orientation vous offre une vue imprenable.

This cache belongs to a series made of 4 caches. This series of caches will lead you to the “Route des Choiseul” on the footsteps of this famous family.

The Saint Nicolas hill is 408 m high at the heart of the Bassigny. From the XIth there was a feudal castle which was destroyed in 1573 during the wars of religion. In the XVIIth century another caslte was built below in Choiseul.
