Geocache Description:

Can arrive by boat or canoe or by a long walk up a private road and along the railway service road (about 2.5 miles in total)

Cache is a small cammoed container hung in a tree. The cache is a replacement for Willie's Treasure and is placed in honour of our Father in Law and Grandfather who used to bring us by boat to this bridge. Cache contains obituary, small trading items (police related) and log.

The Bridge is known as Scotties Bridge because a homesteader named Scott once had a dugout home in the side of a hill in this vicinity (early 1900's).

NOTE: Care should be taken when walking along the railway service road as trains are frequent. Parking is at the gate to the private road on Caddy Lake Block 5. The route on foot is not recommended for young children due to the proximity to trains.
