Get ready for a drive! This is one of my favorite places in the Lowcountry, one which I recently discovered. There is camping available, and many miles of trails leading to some nice hidden swamps all around the area.
Cache is a Lock N' Lock container with a few items in there that hikers might need: deet, Gold Bond, first aid kit, etc. FTF gets ice cream. You'll know it when you see it!
Update 21 September 2012: A few have asked about the "Watchtower" reference. If you take the next left on Hwy 45 (the left turn after Thompson Branch Rd), you'll come to a campground that features an old decommissioned fire tower, formerly used by the USFS.
