The cache is 30 metres down a track that leads into a wood. Once you find the cache which is full of goodies, you can follow the track further up and you will see what I have been told is a World War Two Bomb crater (centre of the wood) left behind from the RAF practice runs that were done in and around the Plain prior to deployment.
The cache is situated on a MOD dry military training area. There are civilian motor bikes that drive around so keep a look out. As with all military training areas one of the safety rules for public access is:- " Do not, (and ensure that children do not) approach, touch or pick up any metal objects lying on the ground. Please obey all byelaws and locally posted information concerning times when the area may be closed. These may be physical barriers and/or flags."
